Watch local democracy in action

We're committed to making democratic processes at Leeds City Council as open and transparent as possible and that means making it easier for our residents to see how decisions that affect local people and communities are made.

Every monthly meeting of the council will now be streamed live and can be seen by clicking on the links on this page. Click on the link and the stream will begin at the time stated.

Meetings usually start at 1pm and please note there will be a break in the meeting at approximately 4:15pm for 20 minutes.

What is a Webcast?

A webcast is a live broadcast of an event shown over the internet. The webcast uses Flash Player and will be able to be viewed on computers, tablets and smartphones.

Should you miss a meeting, or would like to view a section of the meeting again, then you can do so via the archive.  All meetings will be archived afterwards and available to be viewed for the following six months. To view a webcast, simply click on the date of the meeting you wish to watch.

For more information look at our Help pages to find out more about webcasting, how it works, and what you need to enjoy the service.
